Bad Boys Newest Bad Girl: Marina Chello

Bad Boy has a new Bad girl, Marina Chello. Marina has been signed to Crazy Joint which is Bad Boy president Harve Pierre’s new venture. The freshman sits down with Kenya Thomas to answer a few questions and premiere 2 new videos for The Skinny.
KENYA THOMAS: Hi Marina! It’s so cool you to sit down with me today and talk about yourself. So when did you begin your journey into this adventure called music?
MARINA CHELLO: It actually happened a long time ago. Since I have been able to speak I have always loved music. I am surrounded an by music; my dad is musically inclined and here I am!
KT: With you being signed to Bad Boy/Crazy Joint how has the ride been so far ?
MC: Well I am very lucky. I am creatively on the right path and I am learning a lot from Harve. I feel that I am finally in the right hands.
KT: With so many artist out here looking to get signed, what do you think drew Harve to your talent?
MC: Myspace… ha ha ha. I met Harve on myspace and at the time I had a song called “Nothing” posted and he liked it. I write my own music; I write about everyday things. I had a chance to spend a lot of time with Harve and we just clicked and we have a mutual interest to work together.
KT: Is this venture everything that you expected it to be?
MC: I mean its still hard to tell. But I have been really focused on a career in music since I got out of high school; and to be working with Bad boy exceeds my expectations.
KT: Now that you are signed, what is a normal day like for Marina Chello?
MC: Everyday is different. I write a lot, I listen to a lot of beats. I could be chilling with my sister one moment and then making music the next.
KT: What can we expect from Marina Chello on her debut album?
MC: My stories will be heartfelt. There will be truthful stories of love, relationships etc. What’s Done is Done is the album title; it is slated to be debut July 19th.
